Life Profitability: The New Measure of Entrepreneurial Success
von Adii Pienaar
Diversity of experience brings more wisdom to your team, and as the leader, you can draw on that. I used to think that, as the leader, I had to make all the decisions, and they had to be great. I was the one who had to fix everything. But, of course, that was conditioning, the toxic masculinity underlying the entrepreneurial archetype we’ve been yoked to. In self-growth there is no limit. It’s the ultimate freedom to know that, for as long as I desire, I can walk down this path of investing in myself and gravitating toward things I absolutely love as an entrepreneur of self and of business.

As you begin becoming conscious of the self you’re carrying through a day, you can begin seeing the possibilities of the self you might carry in your tomorrows. You can begin making adjustments to obtain better fidelity to yourself.
I’ve mentioned getting a return on yourself as one measure of a life-profitable business. A life-profitable business will help you get that return by giving you the means to be present in your most meaningful experiences every day.
When we look after ourselves, of course we function as better entrepreneurs. And, like the financial adviser, you are not limited to a lone entrepreneurial pursuit. You can be the entrepreneur of your business and of yourself.

"Doing this is a challenge and an opportunity, and that suits our entrepreneurial spirits because we know how to rise to those. We are going to be the entrepreneurs of our lives. And of course, that begins with you."

- →The entrepreneurial archetype tells us we’re “supposed” to suffer and sacrifice, all the while devoted and dedicated, enduring the costs—the collateral damage—of trying to build a business.
